Scripture and a Snapshot ~ June 5th

This rose bush has a interesting story behind it.

My husband surprised me with it for my 3rd Mothers Day. It was a beautiful yellow rose bush. The first year it had 5 or 6 yellow roses on it. The second year it was still yellow and full of blooms. The third year it bloomed this reddish pink and has ever since. :o)

Wow! That is interesting! Is there maybe cross polination in roses? I don't know anything about roses! Great picture and verse anyway!

Beautiful rose and a wonderful scripture!

I have heard the minerals/acidity in the soil can change the colors of other flowers, perhaps roses, too?

Beautiful picture! How interesting that the rose bush changed colors. The bible verse made me pause to think...Patience-perfect work... Hmm how good patience is and it can lead to what God truly wants for us which is the best for us. But having patience is hard!
