Project Life 2012

The Mom Creative
I am so extremely excited to have found Project Life! A friend of mine posted something on Facebook about this project and after looking into it, it is completely perfect for my life.

I am still working on the cover page. Its not quite right yet. I also need to have a nice day so that I can do our Winter family pictures for the upper right hand corner. The card in the middle is difficult to read so I am thinking of changing that too.
Here is our first week.

Each new month I am going to have a "Family Read Aloud" card to document all of our read alouds. Every night we together as a family. I'm not going to write every book we read for school just the family ones. I need to add our next book we started a few days ago, Ginger Pye.

I had Alyssa write out day 5. I even added the price of the pizza. Hehe... I love that the whole family can be involved! I love the idea of being able to look back and seeing their handwriting at this age, etc.

The other day, Carter left this envelope on the dinner table. "To everyone, From CJ".

This picture didn't turn out very well but inside the envelope were these little notes. Love it!

I cant say enough how much I love this project! It is so easy and personal! I can make it anything I want it to be. I have so many ideas running through my head! :)

What a neat idea...and I love your new header picture! My kids do the same thing anytime my hubby even gets near me! If they only knew how they'll feel about the opposite sex in a few years, lol. :^)

I like the photo of the slanted books. Also, I like that you included everybody's ages on the title page, so helpful when pulling out scrapbooks in the future (instead of doing math when telling the kids how old they were then).

I love the way you are involving your kids and using bits of your everyday life! My goal this year is to get my hubby to write some of the cards!
