Strawberry pickin'

I am finally getting around to posting pictures of our day strawberry picking. It seems like it was forever ago. I made jam and a few desserts out of what we picked. I've already given away 2 jars of jam and I just had to open a new jar for us!

It was a scorcher that day! Hot and muggy! The sun never took a break. I regretted wearing jeans after 5 minutes.

We have 2 different orchards that we visit. This one is our favorite for strawberries, blackberries and raspberries.

The view is beautiful. The people are wonderful.
All the kids took a lot of breaks to sit in the shade. They got tired of picking after awhile. The strawberries were good but they were definitely already picked through.
Its hard not too eat as you pick!
We ended up with quite a batch. Even after all our munchies.

Can you spot the CREEPER?

As I was going through the pictures of Carter and Morgans birthday party, I came across this creeper in my pictures. It makes me laugh out loud every time I see them.

Introducing my little brother, Jason. From now on know as......picture creeper. ;)

Who doesn't love an old schoolhouse!

I am the binder queen. My husband makes fun of me because I have a binder for everything. I can't just have it a simple binder. I have to pretty it up. Then add page protectors. If you saw my school shelf you would buy stock in binders and page protectors.

In the last month, I have became a sales representative and a review crew member for The Old Schoolhouse magazine. How cool is that!

Not only is that completely awesome, it gave me the need to make up yet another binder. :) After searching online for way too long a little while for a cute picture of a schoolhouse to sport the front of my binder, I gave up and took my own. Every image was either under copyright or was not what I was looking for.

So now I have my picture and its time to put together my binder. I think I actually like the process of this better than actually using the binder. Haha.....
I would love to have this in my backyard. I could totally see myself marching the kids to "school" everyday. It looks like there would even be enough space for all my binders! ;)

P is for Park

Our weather has been beautiful. Perfect for park days.
We went to a park that is actually really close to our house but we have never been there. Its not a busy park and has everything my kids could want. Water, baseball field and a playground.

In 2 days my babies are going to be 10. Bitter sweet.

Even Taylor enjoyed the track! She was flying around it!

I love big puffy clouds! :)

Bobo waited very patiently for Taylor to come back to him!

Alyssa gave the kids lessons in softball. Throwing, running bases and sliding.

We are loving summer so far. We have big plans for the next few weeks. Carter and Morgans birthday wishes include a baseball game and a drive in movie. We have graduation parties. Camping trip. Fishing days. More park days. Hopefully some swimming.

There is nothing better than making memories.

Sometimes the outtakes are better than the keepers! ;)
