Chats on the Farmhouse Porch

I was searching for homesteading blogs the other day and came across the blog that hosts "Chats on the Farmhouse Porch". How can you NOT join with a title like that!? I mean come on...farmhouse (my dreams are getting closer by the day), chats (you know I love to talk) and porch (be still my heart especially when you have a farmhouse porch cause we all know that is way better than just an ordinary porch).

Everyday Ruralty
So basically every Tuesday, Patrice posts a few questions regarding all kinds of difference things. Answer the questions and link up. Wanna join with me? I'd love if you did.

1.Do you use any type of water filter (pitcher or sink mount)? Yes, our well water is nasty. So we have a Pur water filter that we keep filled up in the fridge. Except when a few unnamed little ones do not add water to it when they take water.

2.Do you have any tips for staying hydrated in the warmer weather? I try to keep a water bottle (a cute one, of course!) filled all the time. If I do not do this then I find myself just grabbing a cold can of soda.

3.Is your hair naturally curly or straight? Straight!

4. Are you on top of all the chores/work you do, or are you always running behind? Ha, I am always running behind. Is it even possible to actually be caught up on everything? If it is, I must have missed that memo that taught how to do that! ;)

5. If you could sing a song to Wendell, what would it be? Probably the theme song from Mr. Rogers because as I type that is what my daughter is watching and I'm thinking that song is now going to be stuck in my head ALL DAY LONG.

LOL well of course the water bottle has to be cute! (mine is pink but there seems to rarely be water in it) I've been trying to kick the diet pepsi addiction but its not going well.

"It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...Won't You Be My Neighbor?" What a great idea to post questions on your blog that get people to respond! I recently created something similar called http://littledidyouknow.co Stop by and visit!

What a lovely photo..I love that idea of a porch and a seat..(seems to be an American thing) cant quite replicate sitting on a block paving step outside my house in the UK!But I try!

I'll join in on another day! Don't always like double posting (and I still might today), but came to blogspot to write a post and your post was in my feed and looked to interesting to not read!

By the way, love your changes!

Is Mr. Rogers still on TV? I've tried to find his videos from the library to no avail. :( Maybe online? I have curly hair, btw. :)

Hey, I have a farmhouse WITH a front porch, deep in the heart of bear country- well, actually deep in the heart of SD. I LOVE it -mainly in the summer. Winters are cold : )

Glad to see that I am not the only one trying to catch up with the chores. I enjoyed reading your post today, since I thought I would really catch up today only to be disappointed at 11:20p.m. that I actually didn't. Maybe if I stopped reading blogs - I actually would catch up. :-)

Welcome to the porch!I always enjoy having another home schooling family to visit. I enjoyed reading your "about me". Cute! I think my crazy horse would probably enjoy the theme to Mr. Rogers. I bet he'd be a real couch potato if he had a TV. Good thing he doesn't. Have a blessed weekend!
