Easy Homemade Granola Bars

4 1/2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup Flour
1 ts. Baking Soda
1 ts. Vanilla
3/4 cup Butter (softened)
1/2 cup Honey
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Chocolate Chips (or Peanut Butter Chips, Raisins, Nuts, etc.)

~ Preheat over to 325 degrees. Lightly grease 8"x11" pan.
~ In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Let the kids use their hands to mix it all up real well. :)
~ Lightly press mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Let cool.

* I cut this into bars and wrap with plastic wrap. Quick and easy snack.

Oh these sound delicious. Maybe the children and I will have to make them. Of course, not great timing seeing as I just decided to go wheat-free this past week. But the girls will love them, we are always getting granola bars from the store and these have got to be healthier.

Do you melt the butter or is it just softened
