Random 5 on Friday ~ February 14th

Happy Valentine's Day!

The Pebble Pond

1. I got my hair trimmed and added long layers this week. I am REALLY itching to add highlights but I don't want to spend the money. Such predicaments, ya know?

2. School was non existent this week. Unless you count Wii tournaments, cuddling and cleaning. I am sure we can fit that in a subject somewhere, right?

3. I am ready to plant my garden. Depending on when we buy a house I might not be able to plant one at all! Can you imagine!? I seriously don't know what I will do. Going all summer without seeing my garden grow will be torture. I think I will resort to pots if it comes down to it.

4. We are having a Valentines Day party on Sunday. The whole family is excited. Tomorrow we are making robot valentine "holders". They are not boxes so...."holders" it is. Today we are going shopping for our menu. Its going to be fun!

5. At 4:30 this afternoon this Bible-Believing, Baptist Church attending, Homeschooling momma is getting a TATTOO. Yep, you heard me right.

It is something I have wanted to do since I was 16. A few years later, I got married, had babies and built a life. Which is definitely the better route! When I hit about 30, I was really wanting to get it done but I was afraid of what people would think. I am slowly overcoming that. Other than not really wanting to spend the money on it, I am over the top excited! Tremendously nervous though. Its gonna hurt!

I hope you will still love me. :)

Do you have some randomness that you would like to share? I would love for you to join in!
Here are the rules. They are simple.

I hear you on the highlights!! That and the time they take to put in...I would love to get them again, but I already get enough "Are you done yet?" and "Coming home soon?" texts just getting my roots done!

I can't wait to see the new tattoo. I got one at 17 and have been wanting to go to one of those places to make it a little different. Okay, a LOT different. It's finding a place to do it in my little town that is hard. I mean we have a tattoo parlor for every 100 people, but I want a place that I know has a good reputation.

I'm so ready to plant a garden as well. :) It's something my family looks forward to every year.

Congrats on the decision to get the tattoo. Not something I would want to do (even though my husband recently became a full fledged tattoo artist), but I never hold it against someone who does. Have a great weekend.
Blessings

Highlights AND a tattoo??? For shame. ;) (I'm totally kidding.) So glad to join up again this week and planning to make a habit of it! Be blessed!

I didnt want to pay for highlights so I bought a kit for 11.00 and had my daughter do it. Turned out nice and I like it. Great learning experience for us both :)

I want to see this tatoo, assuming its in a place you can show it LOL. When my best friend turned 30 she had a little crisis and she talked me and my husband into getting a tatoo with her. I regret it because its ugly, the guy did not do a good job at all. My husbands faded really bad, I wish mine would! It was supposed to be a small ladybug but looks like a squashed tick. :(
