For Today ~ Monday January 25th, 2016 @ 8pm
Outside my window... The sky is beautiful. I caught a glimpse as I was making dinner. It was filled with color and clouds.
I am thinking... My house is a mess and truthfully I should be cleaning instead of blogging. We started back to school today after a few weeks of sickness. It feels like we are not getting anywhere. Between December off for the holidays and the bug that knocked us all on our butts for weeks, things have gotten a little crazy around here. Today was a good day though. Despite the mess.
I am thankful... for a patient and kind husband. He had to take a few sick days from work. As soon as he started to feel better he was helping me with the house, school and getting a start on our garden plans. He never even act like he notices the mess. As long as he has clothes in his drawers. Which I make a huge priority.
I am wearing... comfy pants and a tshirt. It's my signature style lately.
I am creating... my new project life album for 2016. Project Life makes me weak in the knees. Love, love, love it.
I am going... to bed soon. I am going on 3 1/2 hours sleep. For some reason I could not sleep last night and when I did I woke up in a panic from terrible dreams. It was a weird and very long night.
I am wondering... if our new school "rhythm" is going to help things flow better. I am not a schedule kind of person. I like adventure. I like spur of the moment but sometimes that doesn't get it all done. So......I settled for a rhythm to our day.
I am reading... Facebook. Just keeping it real.
I am hoping... we do NOT get sick again this year!
I am learning... how to use Homeschool Tracker. I really like to do everything myself. It is just who I am. I don't need help. I don't need shortcuts. BUT........I really need to be more organized in our homeschool so along with a rhythm, I am trying out Homeschool Tracker to keep me focused.
In my kitchen... at this very moment there is a sweet daughter doing her dinner dishes. Other than that there has not been much happening in the kitchen lately. Except for the every day. Including homemade pizza night. We never miss that!
